Arrived in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

As we arrived in North Myrtle Beach, SC, this was our first glimpse of the ocean.  We had to travel around 18 miles on the main coast highway to get to Myrtle Beach.  Once in M.B., we cruised Ocean Avenue reading all of the hotel signs to see who had the best "stuff".i.e.  free wireless, of course, an ocean front view, indoor/outdoor pool, hot tub, balconies, parking, you know, the things we all expect to get when we show up unannounced.  Because it's off season, the prices started at $30 a night.  We could basically choose any hotel we wanted.  We lucked out!!!! For $59 plus tax, we got all of the above amenities.  I shall hereby gloat and share these photos.  (PS.  this was only $10 more than what we paid to stay at Day's Inn in Selma
