One of my favorite Savannah Homes - The Davenport Home


We took a trolley tour of  "Historic Homes" in Savannah.  (of course).  Loved this house.  We toured another "historic" home but we were not allowed to take photos of the inside.  The trolley ride along with the tour of two homes cost $45 each (ouch!)  We were too tired to tour the second home.  We wanted to get on the road and out of town before 5:00 traffic.  It was crazy enough as it was.

    OMG!!!! I REMEMBER 2121 San Jose Avenue too! I loved that old "painted lady." Was it haunted? Didn't the piano play by itself??
