We/ve arrived!
Yes, we've arrived, what seems like days later. Jo's plane had some hydralic issues so they kept her on the tarmac in Dallas for two hours while the High School auto shop kids greased up the gears and put air in the tires. A few passengers bailed and told Jo to "SAVE HERSELF! GET OFF! They hoped they wouldn't read about her in the morning paper". She stayed. My plane had a 5 hour delay in L.A because of an "issue" with the plane. They wouldn't tell us (I asked). Jo arrived at midnight and waited for me until 4:30 in the morning. She's such a good sister., We picked up our Rent-a-Wreck and the adventure started. Finding the hotel was fun? Even though we are still in the US, you would never know it. Wacky roads....convoluted directional signage. I do believe that we have entered the "traveler's" twilight zone. The people, however, are wonderful. So accommodating at the hotel. I never knew that a total of 83 pounds of luggage (mine) could be so troublesome, We are staying another night so that we can see the sights and I can sell some of my many packed items. Jo said to say Hi to everyone. She wanted everyone to know how much she loves being with me.
